I film a great many Indian weddings, in fact last year alone I filmed 8 in total. They are wonderful vibrant occasions – bright colours and music. Everyone looks great in their jewellery and dress-wear. This is one example of such a wedding.
Nishi and Ravi contacted me after I’d filmed a couple of their friends’ weddings, they wanted something a bit different to the stereotype Indian wedding video which tends to involve a lot of crew, cameras and lights. I offer a more unobtrusive service, filming on long lenses so I’m not getting in people’s way or distracting attention. They also wanted a more contemporary look and edit whilst maintaining a traditional feel with the music. I’ve uploaded this as an example of my approach to Indian wedding cinematography.
